Server Selection & Daily Reset Guide
Wuthering Waves offers five different servers; the game will suggest one depending on where you are. While players are able to switch servers from the main menu, their progress is not saved when they switch servers.
When deciding on a server, keep in mind the following details:
- The daily and weekly reset times will be impacted by the server’s time zone. You might find that the one that works best with your current setup is also the best option for you. At 7 AM UTC (12 AM PST) on all Punishing: Grey Raven servers, it is now.
- While server ping can affect cooperative modes, it’s important to remember that Wuthering Waves’ main focus is on single-player content, which is client-side and thus will not encounter any lag.
- On coop mode, it’s possible that your friends would prefer to play on the same server.
- Depending on the server you choose, the Echo Summon web event offers different rewards. Although you have the option to begin anew on a different server, it is highly unlikely that your event prizes will be carried over.

Game Launcher FAQ
Q1: The Game won’t run after installation. A prompt says: “vcruntime140_1dll was not found”.
A1: Please reinstall the Launcher and download the Client again. If this happens repeatedly, please follow the instructions here to install these files before running the Launcher:
a) Error when installing the Launcher:

A2: To troubleshoot this issue, please try the possible solutions below:
- Check if your device meets the specs listed above.
- Add the game to your malware protection programs’ whitelists, then restart the game.
- Shut down the program and restart the game.
- Find launcher.exe in the game’s installation directory. Right click→Properties→Compatibility Tab→Check the box that says “Run this program in compatibility mode”→Apply and OK. Then restart the game.
